Third Best In The World

OCC’s Phi Theta Kappa honor society students and administrators show off the trophies they won at PTK’s annual conference in Florida. They are pictured on the main stairwell inside Coulter Hall.

There are 1,275 Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) chapters both in the United States and internationally. OCC’s PTK chapter has been named third best in the world. Students and administrators received the amazing news in April at the Phi Theta Kappa Catalyst Gala in Orlando, FL. PTK is the international honor society of community colleges. Students must achieve a 3.5 grade point average to earn membership.
