The work of four artists is highlighted in the latest gallery show. Rachel Baxter, Pam Poquette, Kelsey Renko and Christine Snyder have teamed up to present “abstract /ˈkəlCHər/ culture.” In the exhibit they explore the history and language of abstract art, popular culture, human intelligence, and aesthetic. Simultaneously, through personal process, research, and experimentation of materials they are concerned with the concept of growth and cultivation in their work.
The gallery is located in the Ann Felton Center on the first floor of Ferrante Hall. It is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. You can view a slideshow of photos from the exhibit below.
