Monday, 26th November, 2018

  • Main topics for this panel: Title IX, Sexual Assault Reporting, and Prosecution

11:10 a.m.-12:20 p.m. Gordon 210- Panel Discussion

  • Main topics for this panel: Men, Masculinity, and #MeToo movement

11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m. Mawhinney 394- Native American Heritage Month Presentation

  • “Discovering ‘Indian Season’: Images of Native People in Popular Culture” will be presented by Dr. Michael Taylor

Tuesday, 27th November, 2018

4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. Coulter 116- Interactive Workshop

  • The workshop will run with Vera House

6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Mawhinney 345- Native American Heritage Month Documentary

  • PBS documentary: Native America will be played

Wednesday, 28th November, 2018

11:10 a.m.-12:20 p.m. Mawhinney 245- Panel Discussion

  • Main topics for this panel: Gender-Based Violence and Prevention

11:15 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. Coulter Lobby- Upcycling Craft: Recycled Book Journals

  • Pam Mullan, ILS professor, will teach participants how to recycle old books into journals.

5:30 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. At the Quad- #LightUpOCC Rally

  • The event will be followed up by the Post-Rally Discussion in Coulter 116 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

5:30 p.m.- 7:30 p.m. Skä-noñh Center- Traveling Exhibit: “Not Your Indians Anymore: Richard Oakes and the Alcatraz Takeover”

  • The event will be presented by Dr. Kent Blansett of the University of Nebraska, Omaha. Shuttle leaves at 4:45 p.m. from SRC Arena and returns at 8:30 p.m.

Friday, 30th November, 2018

11:00 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. Mawhinney 245- Screening of the Film

  • “Hunter in the Blackness”  Veterans, Hope & Recovery will be played.

11:10 a.m.- 12:20 p.m. Mawhinney 345- Panel Discussion

  • Main topics for this panel: Empowerment, Progress, and Change

11:10 a.m.- 12:20 p.m. Storer Auditorium- Open-Mic

  • Main topic for this Open-Mic session: Empowerment
