TEDx Comes To OCC

TEDxOnondagaCommunityCollege4 (1000px).pngTEDx OCC will be hosting its third annual TEDx event on Saturday, April 14th, in Storer Auditorium. This event will be a day filled with speakers discussing topics in one of four main categories : Creative, Community, Brighter Together, and Human.

Thirteen speakers with ties to Central New York will participate in the event including OCC Alumnus; Jeff Eysaman and Maurice Brown, ‘17, OCC faculty member Timur Saka, and current OCC student Seth Sunghyuk Bae. The goal of the event is to, “Create something that would bring together the Central New York community members and allow them a platform to share their interesting ideas and to let their voices be heard,” Co-Founder David Furney explained. The event will begin at 10 A.M. and conclude around 4:30 P.M.

Tickets: $30 General Admission or $45 General Admission + TEDx T-shirt
