The work of Jane Skafte and Peter Allen is on display in the Gallery on the first floor of Ferrante Hall. “The Unraveling” highlights recent drawings by the husband and wife duo.
Skafte’s work focuses on climate change as she explores what she can do to create the empathy, emotional engagement and cultural understanding needed to motivate a meaningful shift.
Allen’s interests are language, identity and belief systems. He explores layers of meaning through hand-drawn images combined with structured poems to communicate aspects of the human condition which go, by and large, unexamined.
Their work will be on display until April 12. The Gallery is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
