Submit your High School Transcript or GED/TASC certificate and Score Report
Take Placement Testing
Placement testing helps us put you in the best position to succeed at OCC. Visit our website to see when you can drop by for a placement test.
Provide Immunization Records
New York State Public Health Law requires you to provide proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella, and meningitis. Have your doctor’s office fax the records to (315) 469-9270. For questions please call (315) 498-2000.
Apply for Financial Aid at www.fafsa.gov.
We’ll walk you through the full process of applying for financial aid and applying for scholarships on our financial aid website. If you’re a New York State Resident make sure you also apply for TAP and see if you’re eligible for the Excelsior Scholarship.
Register for Classes
Once you’ve taken care of the above steps, you can register for classes. First-time students will meet with their advisor to help guide them through the process.
