The Return of “Feats of Clay”

Feats of Clay is back on campus! This is the 30th year of the scholastic ceramic art competition. The outstanding exhibit is on display in the Gallery at the Ann Felton Multicultural Center until Thursday, May 4. The following day students from two dozen high schools will come to campus for the Feats of Clay Olympics. Students will compete in a series of events which combine art and athletics including the Cylinder Stack, Mug Production, No Hands Throw, Blindfold Throw, Pot Put and the Highest Coiling. The winning school will be presented a trophy by the previous year’s winner. You can see a slideshow of all of the art on display at the bottom of this story.

Feats of Clay is supported by Onondaga Community College, Clayscapes Pottery and The Independent Potters Association.
