An iconic collection of photographs from the Vietnam War is coming to campus. The traveling exhibit from the National Archives is titled “Picturing Nam: U.S. Military Photographs of the Vietnam War.” The pictures were taken by photojournalists and military photographers, providing citizens with an intimate and uncensored view of the war in Vietnam.

You can view “Picturing Nam” from November 16 to January 7 in the Atrium of the Whitney Applied Technology Center. It will be open every day from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. except for holidays. The exhibit is free and is open to the public. Before the exhibit comes to campus it will be part of the CNY Veterans Parade & Expo Saturday, November 12 at the New York State Fairgrounds.

“Picturing Nam” was created by the National Archives and Records Administration, Washington DC and is traveled by the National Archives Traveling Exhibits Service.
