Jack Brumfield, the 11-year-old son of English Professor Kristen Brumfield, was diagnosed with a recurrence of leukemia and is in need of a bone marrow transplant. In honor of Jack and his family a bone marrow registry drive will be held on campus Wednesday, April 20 from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Bistro in the Gordon Student Center. The family wants to help others who are fighting cancer like Jack. Potential donors must be between the ages of 18 and 44. If you want to help but can’t attend the event you can join the donor registry online.
